What is Shred Fest?:

Securely shredding old documents is a safe way to prevent identity theft. On Saturday, May 6, OCCU is hosting a free, on-the-spot document destruction event for the Lane County and surrounding community.

Bring your sensitive documents to OCCU's Corporate office in Eugene anytime between 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. and we'll safely and securely dispose of them for you.

Can't join us on May 6? Members of OCCU also have the opportunity to take their old documents to any OCCU branch for shredding, limit of up to two boxes per person. Find your nearest branch location: https://myoccu.org/locations

Shred Fest provides the community with free access to shred sensitive documents onsite. This event is open to the public and is meant to offer support to all of our community members.

We recommend you shred old:

  1. Bank statements

  2. Tax records

  3. Receipts and files

  4. Bills or invoices

  5. Any other documents containing personal information

Help us help our neighbors by bringing one or more food items to donate at this year’s Shred Fest event!

We’re partnering with Food for Lane County to help stock its local food pantries and reduce hunger in our community. Their most needed items are canned chicken or tuna, dry pasta, pasta sauces, cereal or canned and boxed dishes. Bring non-perishable food items with you to Shred Fest this year and help to provide a meal to an individual or family in need.
