Meet John Gogol
John was elected to the OCCU Board in 2017. Prior to joining the Board, John spent more than 16 years as a financial services professional, working for regional banks, an accounting firm, and Oregon school districts. In addition to his professional experience, John served five years as a volunteer board member and treasurer for the University of California, Los Angeles Student Federal Credit Union. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of California at Davis and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from UCLA. John’s community service commitments include support of and participation in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and the Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure; building homes for Habitat for Humanity; and fundraising for the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento.
