It’s not just the year that’s new at OCCU! There’s plenty of exciting news happening every day. Here’s a look at the latest highlights. 

What’s your resolution? 

For most of us, the new year begins with a plan. Plans to improve your health, your relationships, your job situation — your life! Make sure financial wellness is on that list! We’ll help you get started with four tips to soar toward your money goals. 

Security check: Update your information 

Moving comes with a long to-do list. Setting up utilities, getting to know the neighborhood and unpacking are all part of the moving process. Updating your address with OCCU is also a very important part of that process. 

Without up-to-date information, we can’t send you new credit cards, tax documents, etc. What’s worse is that those materials could be delivered to your old address, and into hands who don’t need them. So make your financial security a priority and make sure your information is up to date. Here’s how.   

Celebrating past successes, looking forward to new ones 

At OCCU, our vision is to enrich lives. We follow our members on their financial journeys. We help local businesses grow. And, through OCCU Foundation, we support causes to make a positive impact in the neighborhoods we serve.  

With each passing year, our community support reaches more people in need. Our contributions go farther. And we find new ways to give and new organizations to connect with. 

Before we finish up 2023 and get rolling with 2024, let’s celebrate the incredible impact OCCU Foundation made in 2022. It was our biggest year yet, with nearly $1 million given back to the community. And it’s all because of people like you. 

OCCU turned 67 

It’s been 67 years since a group of state employees decided to pool their money in a shoebox and help each other financially. We’ve come a long way since then. We’re now a thriving not-for-profit financial cooperative and we’ve grown from 26 member-owners to more than 260,000!   

And each one of our 260,000-plus members is a force for good. A catalyst for positive change. Through the work you do, the businesses you support, the nonprofits you promote, and through your OCCU membership — you create momentum toward a healthy, thriving community.
