Meet the team: Bend
In June of 1956, OCCU opened its first branch. And in 2026, we’re proud to launch our 15th location! Located at 20785 NW Henry Ave., Suite 150, in Bend, it’s a full-service location for all your banking needs. That said, the best tools at our members' disposal are our OCCU team members. They’re dedicated to our members’ success, supporting our communities and building relationships that matter.

Sharon — branch manager

In Sharon’s own words: “I am incredibly honored to have opened our second branch in Central Oregon! We are excited to join the Bend community, be engaged and to welcome new members to OCCU! Enriching lives and relationship-building is our focus! I’ve been in banking for 35 years, 20 of those in Central Oregon. Outside of work, I love to spend time with family! Thank you for welcoming us to Bend, and we can’t wait to meet you!”

Rachel — assistant branch manager
“I’m passionate about service, growth and making banking feel effortless for every member.”
As an assistant branch manager, Rachel is an essential element to daily functions. As she puts it:
“With over 20 years of banking experience, I lead with a people-first philosophy — whether coaching team members for success, deepening client relationships or engaging with the community. My focus as the assistant branch manager is on mentoring, operations, training, and process development, all aimed at delivering seamless, relationship-driven financial experiences. I’m passionate about service, growth and making banking feel effortless for every member, and I’m excited for the opportunity to bring that passion here to OCCU in our Central Oregon community. When not at work, you can find me reading a book, hiking or biking the trails or going on an adventure with my husband.”

Alyssa — enrichment advisor

Alyssa is a frontline team member whose commitment adds value to her team and community. In her own words:
“Hello! I am going to be the enrichment advisor at our new Bend branch! I made my way to OCCU through roughly 10 years of experience in financial institutions and private accounting. I am most looking forward to having the opportunity to be one of the new faces to represent OCCU in the Central Oregon area and to bring all of the amazing things OCCU has to offer to my own community. Outside of work, I spend most of my time playing outdoor sports with my kids, travel planning and reading my extensive collection of books! I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of our new Bend team, and I can't wait to see all of the magic that we can create for our new and long-standing members!”

Kaelyn's role as enrichment lead involves an in-depth knowledge of financial products and services.
“Welcome. I am the enrichment lead at our new Bend branch! With five years of previous banking experience, I'm passionate about relationship-based service and approaching leadership through stewardship; focusing on trust, care and building meaningful connections with our members and community. Outside of work, I enjoy hand embroidery, reading a collection of interesting stories, and staying active in the gym as well as on the water paddleboarding.”

“With roughly nine years of collective banking experience, I am joining OCCU as a senior enrichment representative, where I can focus my attention on supporting our members and strengthening relationships in the Central Oregon community. I'm excited to continue learning, growing, and contributing to OCCU's success as we grow in the Bend market. Outside of work, I like to spend my time staying active. I am an avid hiker, snowboarder and love to spend free summer days on my paddleboard!”
