Meet the OCCU team: Junction City branch
At OCCU, our vision is to enrich lives. Those of our members and our community. In this effort, we strive to meet our members where they are. This could mean expanding digital services so members can manage their finances on the go. It could mean finding solutions for members in difficult financial situations.
And sometimes, quite literally, it means branching out and planting roots in new places. That’s why we’re opening a new branch in Junction City this year — because becoming a part of the community we serve allows us to fully live out that vision. The team at Junction City will be led by Branch Manager Josh, joining from the Royal branch, and Assistant Manager Kim from the Santa Clara branch.
“To me, enriching lives comes in three forms: wealth, relationship building and sound decision-making,” Josh said. “It's great knowing that I'm a part of an organization that seeks to enrich these areas and always puts people first before anything.”
“We are truly doing our best every day to make our members’ lives better,” Kim said. “It means that we care, we dig deeper, we go the extra mile to make things happen for our members.”
A new branch in Junction City means we can do more. For our members, for the local economy and for the community at large. The ability to meet with our members face to face when they need us, in addition to around-the-clock access to their accounts through MyOCCU Online & Mobile, is an invaluable connection that helps to build a stronger, more resilient community.
“Working at our Santa Clara branch, we have the pleasure of assisting many Junction City members,” Kim said. “They are as excited as we are to have their own branch right in their town.”
Our outreach goes beyond just our membership. A thriving economy is vital to the financial success of a community, and we work closely with local businesses to ensure they have the financial tools they need to succeed as well. As one of the newest Tri-County Chamber of Commerce members, you’ll find our team connecting with others in the area at upcoming events. And through the OCCU Foundation we work to create a lasting impact on the regions we serve, partnering with donors, nonprofits and academia to help our neighbors live better, learn more and innovate for the benefit of all.
“I look forward to learning how to best invest in the Junction City community,” Josh said. “I really do believe OCCU is what the city needs, and I look forward to being part of their prosperous future.”
