You bought a new car!

And you’re trusting OCCU for your financing — whether you came to us directly or were connected with us through dealership financing.

Either way, congratulations! It’s always exciting to get new wheels, and we’re happy to be along for the ride.

You may have some questions about how to manage your OCCU loan, especially if you’re a new member. We’re here to help you.

How do I enroll in eStatements?

Before you can enroll in eStatements, you’ll need a MyOCCU Online & Mobile account if you don’t have one already. This will come in handy throughout the life of your loan because you can easily manage most aspects of your loan here and send us secure messages if you have any questions about your account. And if you decide to use your OCCU membership to open any other accounts, you can do so easily.

Once you’re logged in, all you need to do is:

  • Choose eStatements from the View Accounts menu and choose the Member Statements tab.
  • Read and agree to the E-Sign Agreement.
  • Provide and/or verify your email address.

You can find more detailed instructions here.

Remember, there are benefits to signing up for eStatements. Less paper is better for the environment and helps keep your counters tidy. And depending on the agreement you made at the dealership, you can avoid a $250 fee by signing up for eStatements and automatic payments.

How do I pay my loan?

There are many ways to make a payment on your OCCU loans. We recommend automating your payment by scheduling transfers from another OCCU account or by setting up an automatic payment through another bank or credit union. In fact, you may have already done this at the dealership, since we offer a rate reduction when you do.

But you can also make one-time payments online, over the phone, in-branch, or by mail.

Each option has its benefits, and some have limitations (like processing time), but with so many options, you can find one that fits your needs. Learn more here.

How do I change the due date on my vehicle loan?

We’ll be happy to help you change the due date on your installment loan to any date within the same month. Just send us a secure message through MyOCCU Online & Mobile, give us a call at 800.365.1111, or visit your nearest branch.

How do I check my balance or pay off my loan?

You can check your balance online or by calling us at 800.365.1111. We’ll also be able to help you with a payoff amount when you call. If you’re getting ready to trade in your vehicle at a dealership, the dealer will be able to get the payoff amount on your behalf.

Whether you’re a new member thanks to this financing or you’ve been with us a while, we’re happy to have you as a part of our community.
